Concerning my OEM radio...
I have a 91' LS400 and I want to get the stereo working again. Some ape who owned the car before me decided that a pioneer deck from the late 90's which plays ONLY through the tweeters is the best idea ever. It sounds suspiciously like a gramophone
So i want to figure out what the car had before, but I have no obvious clues. Do you guys know of any tricks to figuring it out on these early model LS's? I'm sure there is a difference in speaker count or maybe just looking at the speaker itself...any clues you guys have would be great.
Also, any opinions on getting a used OEM stereo and throwing it back in (using the tape deck for Ipod) versus a relatively cheap new stereo deck...any info you guys have is greatly appreciated.

Is there any DIY's out there that show you how to replace the radio? I need to do this too on a friends car. The radio doesn't work. But i'll check the fuses before i buy a good used OEM radio.
I'll post pictures of the oem radio for you
