I got an email from them saying that they were sending me a prepaid label to mail the taillights back. They said it was a manufacturer's defect and a bunch of them are having problems.

I have these same lights installed on my '97.

Since I don't see any pics in this thread, what exactly is the problem here? I don't see anything wrong with mine and I bought them from Procarparts for $180.00

retrodrive posted the pics of his taillights, looks like his server is down. His are pretty bad, mine are not as bad. The problems are with the ones for the first gen LS.

just won my auction on e-bay for the front bumper lights, as soon as they get in the replacement rear lights, I will be picking up some of those.

They sent a reply:
"We are not never sure what items we will be getting, but check back after a month and we jus might have some."
I would just go with another site. You might have to pay $30-40 more, but just make sure they inspect them before sending. Actually the price will probably be the same at another site because of the ridiculous shipping fees procarparts charges.

That is a good idea. I finally got around to installing my front bumper lights and they look fantastic! I will take some pics and put them on my web site after I detail the car this weekend. I am really itching to get the rear lights to balance them out. Does anyone know of any other sites that might have them? Any recommendations on those other sites? I have been checking e-bay almost every day for the tail lights with no success.

The taillights look great! Like you said, the emblems are looking kind of faded, though. I need to replace mine too. I am thinking of taking mine off and using metal polish and a lot of elbow grease to see what is underneath. They stick right back on with double sided tape. I already took the gold off my exhaust tips and they look much better. I used very fine steel wool and polishing compound for that.

Nice lights Lexie. I wish my car was a 95...they really made the rear look better by making the lights smaller.
