Ok, that makes sense. Still, 480,000 miles on a 91 Ls400 is great! I wonder, did you rebuild the engine or anything like that at all or is everything still stock?

I bought my 1990 ls400 about a week ago, has 130,000 miles. Clean title, no hits or anything. Just has very few minor problems that I want to fix in the coming months.

It is a hand-me-down 91 from my brother in law...all his commuting, and yes 772,000km. All original drivetrain and bearings. Only timing belts and a few accessories, no rebuilds or anything major. I just got the second one, a 93 LS with 535,000km, (the sister-in-laws). It is up on jackstands and will get new rotors and pads this week...
