i have to second that. For 2k, i don't care how many miles it has. Condition is much more important.

If its clean just buy it....

ive seen old people with very low milage cars before. there was guy near my dads house i met. he had a 300gt vr4, had 7500miles on it. this was back in 2000. also had a 93 supra n/a auto, it had 3200 miles on it. had a delorean with ~3000 miles on it. a 68ish jag e type with 25k on it etc... his daily was an 87 supra turbo auto and it only had like 60k on it. guy was a lil wierd to be honest, but man was the stuff mint. he died a 3-4 years ago and his wife sold everything right away. wish i could have afforded some of those cars. they were all MINT!

btw, my friends dad got a 70 chevelle 2 door with 68k on it, all origonal from the origonal owner like 10 years ago. think he paid maybe $4k for it. has a 396 in it. lady bought it and only drove to church and to the grocery store. that was it. fl. car, garage kept. he had the engine rebuilt, and the engine rebuilder told him all it needed was seals. there was no ridge at the top of the cylinders or anything. sometimes you just get lucky.

I third that !! There are some for sale in bad shape going for around 2k, so this is a rare find and I'd jump on it if I were you!!

Alright guys so I did the carfax and looks like we have a keeper. Last service record in 2008 shows 6,217 miles to be exact. I'm still kinda like WTF? Lol but anyways I picked it up. It is very dirty and needs a bath. I will show some pics soon if you all are interested. Thanks again for the help guys

why mod a car like that? hell i'd start contacting local dealerships or Lexus corp to see if they wanna buy the car off you and keep it as a museum piece.
