Funny you should ask that. I just had all four shocks replaced on saturday with Tokico Blues. I got them from shox.com.
I used to work at the installation shop when i was 16 so they only charged me $175 to install all 4. The fronts they said were very easy only about 1 hour to do. The rears they said took over 3 hours, and I had already taken the rear seat out.
The shocks drive great. They are a little stiff at first. My LS has 141000 on it and had the original shocks. Maybe its just me but it feels as if the car accelerates better with less rear end sag and stops better with less front end dive. The side to side motion of the car is also improved. I also used to have this shaking between 70-85mph. It is now as smooth as silk.
I should be getting new tires this week or next week along with a 4 wheel alignment. Ill let you know if there is anf difference.

Your car looks great. Could you please share your suspension setup? I'm curious to know what you use to drop it with and your thoughts on the ride quality.
Thanks!

The ride quality was stiffer then stock at first when the shocks and springs were new but after a few month of breakin period, the ride has become much softer (almost stock) but I can definetely tell the difference in handeling.
This might be interesting to you:

it's a little halfassed and not done but gives you general idea.
Thx for the props btw.

Hello Retrodrive! That's great information! I'm pretty much setteled on the tockico with Eibach combo. Hopefully within the next month or so...it'll be dropped.
On a side note, is that your web site? That's some extensive research/knowleadge you hold there! Good work!
I'm going to try to post some pics up of my other car...the one I have dumped 3+ years of my life and over $30,000 invested. It's a 1994 Integra. I have some helpful knowledge on Integras which probably won't do anyone here any good but car knowledge is car knowledge. I guess this is turning out to be a post more about me than anything! For the time being, check out my web site and under members look at "Ahad"

Thanks for the info once again!

Damn air suspension!!! I want some Tokicos now!
All right I have no idea what the ride quality was this car was new, but now with 75k miles (yeah I know pretty low for a 94), the ride is comparable to many newer run of the mill cars. If I get the air suspension controller and lower it, it will undoubtedly get worse.
I would assume that with an air suspension the ride would not get much worse as it ages, unlike springs which definitely wear out. Any thoughts on this?

TRM, thats my site. It does not have even half of the info it should have but gradually it will grow bigger. Mice ride you got there!
rsg, anything gets worse with time. You can lower your car on air suspension though. By tuning some pins you can make your car drop or rise and stay that way. Do a search but I will put this section on my site in like 2-3 weaks anyway.

It looks like an add-on to the existing bumper. That would be perfect for me.

another...
1] clr bumbers are relayed to turn on when the corner lights go on..
2] fog light housing removed years ago... just remove the housing, gently toss it in mid-air and let it drop, the yellow glass should mostly break, then use a tweazer and remove the remaining few pieces...
