Akitomk3, how did you do the tail lights? And how easy is it to instal those clear ones? I'm not a fan of the amber color ones.

I just ordered my signals, i haven't done it yet so i cant help you with that.. I'm sure you just unscrew and pop it out and replace it with the clear ones. But as for the bulbs, I'm confused.. front signals are 1156, but i don't know what the heck a side marker is on the ls, i don't wanna buy the wrong bulbs for my signals so is it 168/194 or 1156 bulbs?

There is this film/vinyl my boy bought it from Ebay, use soapy water, hair dryer, straight edge like one of those tint tool and a razor blade to clean up some extra pieces. Pretty much just cut the vinyl to the right size, clean the lenses and apply soapy water on it and put the vinyl on it and dry it using the hair dryer and smoothen/ straightening it out with the straight edge. Take your time and it will come out clean.

the blinker will blink faster because an LED has less resistance than a normal bulb. to fix the problem you ad a resister inline to duplicate the normal bulbs resistance. fast blinking problem fixed.

That is an older style clear lens. There are some threads about them, I don't recall the comments.

price isnt bad at all - better than the $200+ prices I have been seeing for the others, just cant justify paying that much

You need to add the ballast resistor in parallel to the LED not inline.

The link below explains better.
