Thumbs up ebay CC LCD review

Just installed new lcd from ebay. The seller's ID is gtshokoor. Not sure how long it'll last but so far so good. Cost is $45 shipped and took about an hour of my time and I'm not a pro at soldering.

Awesome! Looks great! How hard would you say the job was? Did the old solder come off easily?

On scale od 1-10 I'd say 5. Not too difficult. Only roadblock was taking the old LCD out. I used a hairdryer to soften the glue. Desoldering and soldering was easy it just took awhile because there were so many pins.

I find the easiest way to remove the old LCD is to cut the old one out by cutting each connecting pin with a pair of precision wire cutters, then flick the remaining pins off the solder pads with the soldering iron then finally clean the remaining solder of the pads with some solder braid/wick.
Sorry if the terminology is off guys this is a Brit posting.
