Default part number and where to get

Rh Rear Brake Pad Wear Indicator 47771-50060 ---- $49.71
IRONTOAD has the this brake pad wear indicator sensor for $50. dealership wanted $120 and wouldn't give me the Part number. $50 bucks is still pricey. Think I'll spend $10 on a soldering iron. thanks FusionMan79

Default Brake sensor?

I just did my '93 LS400 front brakes, and only then did I discover that I had a sensor. Mine never went off even though the pads were completely worn down. I got the car with 50K miles and now have 110K and this was my first brake repair. I guess that's not bad for a set of pads.
I had looked down into the caliper whenever I tire was off, but didn't realize I was looking at the steel plate and not actually the pads. I used CarQuest premium pads that were recommended
by my mechanic. I hope they aren't hard on the rotors. Pads are cheap compared to them.
Does anyone have a line front wheel bearings for my car?

When the sensor hits the rotor and wears off the solder, contact will be broken again causing the warning light.

If any of you try this let me know. And make sure to disconnect the battery after you're done to reset the ecu and clear the warning. I hope everyone finds this useful. It's a far better solution than spending $240.
Hi, I have recently replaced one brake pad sensor (got lucky and got one cheap off ebay in UK)

The problem is the light on the dash is still on so I am going to try and reset ECU.

Is there any problem with disconnecting the battery or should I pull the fuse in the ECU.

The reason I ask is someone said it can cause problems disconnecting the battery.

Can anyone please advise me as to what is the best way,not even sure where the ECU is let alone what fuses to pull.

Thanks Andy.
