Update: car is in my garage......finnaly. I pulled engine and trans together and seperated them. Ive been waiting because i wanted to reseal the motor and trans and clean everything thoroughly. I also have a sweet new torque covertor thats been hiding under my bed for toooo long. I should be able to get some pics up soon. The headers are at M.R.D. who is putting on v-band flanges and o2 bungs, they should be ready on monday. I hate imcomplete post so i wanted to update this, and i will continue untill its done. We did pull it on the dyno first and we will again when completed several more times while trying different exhaust options.

Finally fired up the beast. Going to wash it and get everything cleaned up tommorow. I need to tidy up a few things on the front end also. I hope to have the exhaust on so i can get it on the dyno before the weekend.

Just had exhaust connected today simply connected original y pipe to headers and a single cat in the middle where they meet. I have a few things to tidy up before making any exhaust Mods or upgrades or dyno pulls. But I will say this. Oh my gosh! What an amazing difference.

so, i'm getting the idea that its uber hard to find, well, most anything for the 1st gen. what parts, other than coilovers and wheels do i actually stand a snowballs chance in hell of finding as a new, not used part?
