Well, as people read in my other thread about the heater core, I replaced the heater core. (it WAS leaking) My windows are STILL fogging up, sometimes worse then before I changed the H/C. It happens when I drive, and after I shut the car off. I used to see steam coming out the side window defrosters after the car was off, now I don't. Could it just be the old antifreeze which I wasn't able to wipe out of the heater assembly? (Why would it be worse?) I'm gonna try bypassing this heater core to see if anything changes but Idk when I can get to that, time is tight. (trying to get back to work) Any other ideas?
TIA

Check proper A/C operation... That is why when we defrost, the AC automatically comes on, it is because it is trying to remove the moisture in the air faster.

Thanks, the A/C was working perfect before I changed the heater core but during that disassembly I had to drain the A/C and remove the lines off the blower unit. Today I did wash the windows to get the old antifreeze off. After that it was only a minor fog near the defrost area.
Now the car died from something else so I can't check anything till I get it back running again.

Thanks for that sarcastic remark. It made me laugh after this bad day. I was thinking that and I should have taken the heater unit all apart and dried it but I didn't think of it while it was out.

Oh well, I gotta have a sense of humor with this b/c I guess I need to take this dash out again to get the heater out, right down to the firewall. Eh, it wont be as time consuming and such a PITA the second time around. Yeah, fun for me again. Good thing I didn't go back to work yet. LOL

I just did it over the weekend to change the heater core so I know exactly what needs to come out. There is NO shortcuts on this one.
#7 on this one https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...ater-core.html When I had it out I wiped down under the heater core but not completely dry. I didn't think this was gonna happen.
