Suspension Question, Spindle assembly?
Hi, I recently took an unexpected drifting lesson on a wet road, and I spun out and hit the curb pretty hard on my drivers side rear. The mechanic says I need a new spindle assembly, or whatever it is called. When i searched i found a part number for the "knuckle", but it was for a first Gen LS and I have a 2nd Gen (1997).
I'm just wondering if there is anyone out there that can help me find the right part/part # and possibly a cheaper price, and also warn me of any other problems/concerns I may need to address.
After the incident, the car drove almost the same, just WAY out of alignment and a little swaying I might say.

I just searched and if you guys could look at this link
http://www.lexuspartsnow.com/compone...8-04-4065.html
I think its part 42305-500XX. There are 2 parts for this, which depend on your production date. I have a 1997 so I'm guessing it was produced 1994.10-1997.07 right? I don't have the car on hand because its at the mechanic's house.
Could anyone help confirm that this is the right part? It doesn't have knuckle/spindle in its description.

What you need is the rear axle carrier. as shown in the diagram above
a knuckle has reference to "turning", your rears dont turn
I suggest you have the mechanic remove the part and take it to a salvage yard and get one, that is something not usually damaged in an accident.
