Actually the truck engines are a dime a dozen and cheap. I can get everything from pan to intake for $800 and that is for the 5.3. The 6.0 is roughly $1k. LS1's are not the expensive either, mostly the LS2's, 6's and 7's are the harder to find and more expensive engines.
