Is the light working at all, does it come on when you turn the key before starting the car? If not, either the bulb is burnt out or someone has covered it with tape. This, http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/intro/codereading.html , is the correct way to diagnose. If there's no codes stored it should continually blink every .25 second.

sounds like you have either an airflow problem or a possible bad coil. but first thing is first you need to make sure that your check engine light comes on when you turn the ignition on and if not you need to make sure it isnt covered.

Maybe it's just not reading a code, it happens. Does the RPM go higher if you give it light gas? Check your AFM to see if it's in spec, mine isn't and it doesn't throw a code unless I unplug it. You have the manual, it will tell you all the specs. When you do the tune up you should also change the ECT. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...read-this.html it will help ya out with the fuel.
