Default Plug my acv, help out

i just removed my alt and it was very oily lol now got to replace that beacuase of the ps leak, got to my acv took it off and the hoses, i cleaned them up and they look fine?? but could be the littlest thing for it too leak i guess but to plug my acv could i just cap off the 2 tubes on the back of the acv? or should i just break off the plastic part of the acv and weld or jb wels the nut?? what yall think

go to autozone, find some rubber plugs and plug the two on the valve. then plug up the one in the intake manifold and resonator.

cool got another issue the lil rode that goes into the acv vavle fell off when i took it off and tont know what end to put it in or does it even matter if i put it in since im plugging it??

The acv, it gots a lil rode type deal in the threaded end of it from what i heard, dont know what side it if the rode to stick it in? Both ends of the lil rode is defferent? But should it matter if i dont put it in since im pluggin the 2 sides?

ill try to get a pic, but its like a inch long rode that got lilttle o rings 2 black 2 white that goes into the acv

Yes, a pic would definately help!! What do you mean by "from what I heard"? Did you take this thing (rode) out or did someone tell you it is there? Did you take out the ACV or the Flow Control Valve? Is there a spring on it? If so, then it's the FCV. We're just trying to figure out what you mean by "rode". Need a pic!!

when i was under the car taking the acv off it fell off while i took the acv off, it was mentioned in the how to section when plugging a acv, let me try to find it

2) You will end up with an all metal piece, that has a concave end where the plastic piece was. (Further down pictures will show you what you will end up with) This has a valve running through it, which you can easily knock out with a small object
