Cruise Control Follow Up
Horn works fine.
Sorry for the delay, I am in Indiana and I had to get through 1/2" of ice on the car to get in.

Cruise Control Problems
I have not found the solution yet. A recent post talked about diagnostics but I don't even get the light on in the dash display when I try to engage.
If I don't hear from anybody that can help I may try to replace the ECU as that is relatively easy and inexpensive.

It could be the clockspring (spiral cable assembly). My horn wasn't working and replacing the clockspring fixed it. If your dash light isn't coming on, it's a good indicator a pin or two on the clockspring are bad.
it's easy to test without removing it.... disco negative battery lead, remove the column cover and air bag. Disconnect the cable connectors from the front and back of the clock spring and check for continuity. If buying a replacement on eBay, have them validate continuity on it before buying.
