Passenger side low beam is out. OK, no problem. Got a new bulb and installed. Still out. So I checked continuity of the old bulb and new bulb with an ohmeter. They both seem ok. Then located the fuse that controls low beams on that side. It was ok. Looked at fuse for other side just in case. it looks ok also.

Using a voltmeter on the socket that bulb fits into, I get no reading.

So that is all I can think to check, and would welcome other ideas at this point.

the 95-97 cars use H4/9003 bulbs which are dual filament. did you check the high beam filament or the low-beam? go and check all the wiring for shorts/breaks/corrosion/etc...

My car has separate bulbs for high beam and low beam, I think. At least there are 2 bulbs there. the lower one was a 9005. I will try to remove the upper one and see what model it is. Thanks,

ok, I removed the "other" bulb and it is a 2 filament bulb, however no number on it. So tomorrow morning it is off the the store and see if a 9003 looks like this one, and hopefully it will, and then try that one.

Thanks PureDrifter. The correct bulb was what was needed. Although that one is very hard to get back in and secured with that wired frame and rubber covering. It is working now.
