Lvan,
Regarding you exhaust, I would suggest you consider trying something like this single system pictured here: http://www.users.bigpond.com/pgscott/acceleration.html
Pete has a ton of data and even has exhaust sounds for this system and ALL kinds of set ups here: http://members.optushome.com.au/acti...inchsingle.mp3
Here is the link for the single system sound:

I think what you are experiencing is too MUCH exhaust system volume for the 4.0 at low RPMs. The single 2.5 may be just right. You may also try disconneting your system at the center resonator and running it open for testing with possibly using a reducer to tune for torque to determine the best area.

Thanks!
I have read through that site a few times before I did the exhaust changes. I found it hard to understand the 'bottom line' if there was one. The whole more/less flow thing confused me.
I actually go to a local muffler shop which has a screwy system for charging their customers..one day it's X amount the next day it's xx amount...they also use generic steel piping for the pipes. I wonder if this has any mark on quality or performance. So with this, going back and forth all the time to cut out pieces can be quite costly.
I prefer not to go with the single system because of the, well yes, looks ;-) ;-) I love the dual exhaust setup. That X center piping looks good, just hoping it can deliver!
btw- thanks for all the input..seems this forum has been kinda dead lately.
