1991 Airbag Layout
I had a 1991 LS 400 but cannot remember the airbag situation. The archived brochure is not clear, but seems to imply that there is only a driver's side airbag (steering wheel). I'm a year away from my getting a car for my kid. As much as I think an early LS would be a safe and reliable ride, I may go into something newer (i.e. out of my price range for it to be a LS) that's surrounded by airbags. So the two questions are: What did a 1991 have for airbags (standard and optional)? And what year was it possible to get at least front seat side impact airbag protection? Thanks!

The LS430 was not available in 1991 it would have been the LS400.
Read the information on the link below, but to get multiple airbags you need the late 1997 model onwards (4th generation)
