Default Just put in a new JDM motor. Only dash has power, no crank. Help?

My LS had some serious cooling system problems, years of a lack of Toyota Red is my guess so I tossed that motor and put in a new JDM for $325, www.attarco.com. (FYI learned that JDM's are not such an easy swap for a California car. Many things need to be changed over from your original motor.)

To make a long story short, I replaced everything, went through all the checks and tried to start it. I knew that I had a problem when I hooked up the battery and had no dome light, when I turn the key, no fuel pump prime, no pdl or windows, no headlights, no radio, etc. Just my dash lights up and when I turn the key I get no crank. I checked all the fuses and the engine to frame ground wires, these all seem to be ok. I doubt it is the starter because of all of the other electronic stuff that is not there. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the replies I forgot to note I have a 92 LS. Which ground is this? Is is located under the glovebox where the actual ECU is or does it come off of the engine harness that goes through the firewall. if I remember this connects on the back of the engine and there is also another one on the driver side of the engine?

I would upload pics from my electronic manual but my PDF is corrupt all of a sudden for some reason.
