air bag light and car horn not working
Hi everyone,
I have a 1992 LS 400. Recently the air bag light lit up and shortly after discovered my car horn was not working anymore either. I have read a few post on this forum about the air bag light but not about the two issue together. Could they possibly be related? And any quick fix one can think of is greatly appreciated.

Not sure if they're related but try this http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/light...rbaglight.html to get rid of the air bag light. Dumb question but did you check your fuse for the horn?

If the fuses check out OK and reseting the airbag light described above fails to work pull the airbag diagnostic codes,
A common cause for both not working could be the clock spring unit, this is a rotary contact set up providing the power to the airbag itself and also the horn switches.
If you google Lexus Clock Spring there is loads of info.
Beware working on airbag systems is dangerous without adequate precautions.
Link shows an ES300 example similar to yours

+1 on the clock spring, also known as the spiral cable assembly.
