Default Shuttering transmission at 'held' RPM point

Ok, somethin new to write about here..I think I already know the solution.

I've noticed this happen maybe 2-3 times now and it's not that often. When I drive normally and accelerate moderately this stutter doesnt happen. If I accel slow and keep the RPM steady ay a certain point (1800 pms lets say) for half a mile or so, the car starts to stutter mildly and has that engine 'choking' feeling. It almost like it's misfiring, but I'm like 99.99 % sure this isnt the case. My guess is this relaes back to that transmission issue when that toyota place I took my car to put dexron in after a 'flush' (which I dont think they really did) and after I complained they put a mix of Type IV and the remnants of the Dexron.

This issue has occured before I put any mods on, and I can sometimes duplicate this stutter if I keep trying. I think it's time to hit up the dealer and specifically request a full flush and filter replacement.

Could you let us know of the solution. I have a similar issue with a shuttering sensation around 35-40mph.

Thanks.

Completely flush will take care of this problem. I mean a really flush that hook up the machine to it at the trans. cooler line coming in and out of the radiator with 4 gallons of Type T-IV. Don't get new convertor $$$$ for nothing.

That's messed up,I'd stop driving the car, since a tranny is pretty expensive.
Maybe find a new wrench to work on your car too,one that knows Toyota/Lexus.
The different fluid has different friction modifiers and can toast the clutches.
