I updated the first post with the stock halogen beam pattern.

Hilux22RE, too much local light pollution and street lights in my basic area. Once I find a dark spot, I'll re-shoot.

Nope. I have a 90 so the wiring is different. I actually got a custom set of HIDs with the correct bulbs for a 93-94 (the year eagle eyes are made for) and the correct wiring for 90.

yea i know..i have a 92 so i had to modify to get the h4's to work....i was just wondering if u went str8 into hids or put halogens first. i have the eagle eyes and was probably the first on here to get em,the light out put is ok,much better than stock and the look is also better...i was just curious if its worth the money to get hids and also what kit do u have..im not going to spend money on a cheap chinese kit that will only give me issues. my last kit which i had installed in my stock lights were horrible, only one light would come on and i would have to turn the lights on and off a few times to get em to work

I got the idea from you

(I realized that now after you mention it and I see your avatar). I have kryptonbulbs.com kit, which is supposed to be lifetime warranty, but now (3rd kit i've ordered from them) that I actually have an issue, they won't respond to my emails, so I do not suggest it.

I can't say how much brighter these are than the halogens in the eagle eye housings, I just know HIDs+Eagle Eyes = 100x brighter than stock ****ty housings with ****ty halogens.

One side wont switch from high/low.

Initially the car thought it was stuck on high beams, fogs wouldn't work, headlights wouldn't switch, then I reversed the plugs on the harness and fixed that issue, only to find out that one of the sides won't switch. I contacted them (many times) and have yet to get a response.

ddm tuning is crap. buy a quality Xenondepot (or comparable quality) kit.

I like the Retrofitsource. Good service, fast shipping and they support the HID forum I like to frequent.

fatcat2 and ray316

Can you snap the beam pattern on the road also? Want to see the throw-pattern 50+ feet out from the car.
