Default 98 corolla brakes vs 90 LS brakes..

After driving around my friends 98 corolla..I'm in love with the brakes!

They are extremely tight and have very little pedal cushion. Stopping power is applied at a very short stepping distance.

Now in my LS...bleh! You can push the pedal halfway before you feel anything and you must progressively push down to get the car to stop.

Maybe it's time for that 93'+ brake upgrade..or at least new front pads, rotors and shocks (on the way!)

My old SC was the same way,but after replacing the pads with quality units, all is better.
I'm using the carbon-metallics from Performance Friction.
