Default Replacement Cost for the Q45 headlamp

I don't know if any of you care, but while checking out the new G35 at the local Infiniti dealership in San Diego I got to talking with a service writer about the Q45. He kind of chuckled and stated, which I will paraphrase, "the Q45 is an unbelieveable car, but when that warranty runs out this car is going to be extremely expensive to replace quite a few of the parts." He pointed out the beautiful, 7 lens high-intensity headlamp assy and told me that to replace the entire assy it would invoice at $3000, ladies and gents, that's for one headlamp assy! For $6000 you can pick up a 1996 I30 for crying out loud!

I realize that luxury cars are expensive, period. But I was totally amazed by the astronomical price of this headlamp assy. I thought a new tranny in my Nissan Pathfinder for $2700 was bad years ago, but this is not even a mechanical piece of equipment. Maybe I'm turning into a cheapskate, I have no idea. Doeas anyone know what the most expensive, non-powertrain part on the LS430 would be to replace?
