Bad news
So I have a 96 LS and while i was parked at a parking slot at the gas station and while sitting there this 18wheeler came and hit the rear of my car and bent the rear driver side wheel so now the car rides like im riding over bumps, the bumper is all messed up and the rear side panel is bent out of place so makes it hard to open and close the trunck.

Abdiel,
Ouch! I'm sorry to hear about your run-in with an 18-wheeler Thank God that you weren't in the car at the time because even relatively minor accidents involving such a monstrously large vehicle such as a semi could have severe implications on your health further down the line.
My grandfather was rear-ended by a raised F-250 a few years ago and, while his LS400 simply needed a new rear bumper, he to this day contends with acute spinal column pain.
Anywhoo, will your insurance recoup the costs of the anticipated repairs? If not, I hate to say that you should get ready to fork out some considerable cheddar. My grandpa was quoted about $1,200 for a new bumper from his local Lexus stealership but he ended up scoring an OEM replacement bumper from lexuspartsnow.com for about $800 out-the-door. I don't recall what the labour charge was for the job but I'm sure it wasn't pretty. Shop around for the best deal on parts and secure a reputable independent Lexus body shop so that you can alleviate some of the financial woes that will arise.
Good luck with everything man and I'm glad that you're okay!

Pole Position
No way of really knowing how long b/c it all depends on the Insurance company. All accidents I had were other guys (and galls) fault, so it's thier ins. One time I got a check in 3 days b/c they were paying for a rental so they wanted it done quick. My last accident back in 98 just got cleared up 2 years ago Sept. (11 years) but that's b/c my kids were injured. (they're OK now) That's college I don't have to pay for 2 of my 3 kids.
Glad you're OK and good luck with the insurance.
