Alternator Replacement , when ?
Hi , I have a 91 , with 136K.
Here's my problem. Some times I don't drive
my car for 1-1/2 weeks , a little long I guess but the battery
drains out over that time ? I bought a new battery, but the same
problem happens , If I drive it every 2-3 days then no problem.
I guessing the Alt is not charging enough ?
Since there is no volt meter on the car , is
there any better way to tell if the alt. is going ?
Thanks.

You need to take your car to a competent mechanic to get the charging/starting system tested...they will have a handheld device that will let you know if you're alt is putting out the correct volts.
You can also test your battery with a hand held voltmeter. Test with the car off, and then running. You should see 13-14volts with the car running.
Good Luck.
