Shocks were black bodied, markings read TOYOTA.
Saw another LS with some 18" rims, had JWL and VIA markings, missing 2 centercaps but the remaining ones read "UNITS" ? One piece, chrome, 5 star double spoke pattern. Prob woulda picked them up but I already have SC430s.
Going back next week my friend needs parts for his Camry.
Idk if I wanna throw these on, I just installed brand new California Customs 2" springs on KYB GR2 less than 100 miles ago. TradersTrucks claims those were made by Eibach too.

CA Customs has manged to make springs for a variety of limited applications. It has been so long and I don't recollect the rep of the company. Hard to beat Eibach for a basic application.

Very much appreciate the input, fellas.
I like the 2" drop the CA Customs give me, but I think I may be trading off for shorter shock life. Then there's the whole removing and reinstalling everything again so soon, something to factor in, although at least it should go faster since I know how to do the rears now. Hmmmm.
Traders Trucks, the company that bought out Ca Customs, were advertising the springs as made by Eibach, not sure how much faith to put into those claims but I'm guessing they had a look at the suppliers when they acquired the company.
Wow I had no idea the Eibachs were going for so much. Either sit on these until I get more miles on the current set up to do a comparo to see which I like better or sell them... An extra $200 would help get it registered and smogged and maybe get me some energy bushings so I can install the sway bars.

lol my buddy goes all the time, if I need something I tag along. It's like a treasure hunt, wandering around the yards looking at diff cars, seeing how they hold up, figuring out what parts interchange, seeing cars you haven't seen on the road in years if ever. Not a bad way to spend a day. And sometimes you score
