Help! opened my wheel cap to take wheel off and 5 small ball bearings rolled out from inside the wheel cap!

i have a 1998 ls400. Do i need new wheel bearings? should i get the entire hub? whats going on here... please help because i don't know if its safe to drive!

Get them replaced ASAP!
Might be cost effective to replace the whole hub but the bearings themselves are not big $.

May not necessary, but I'd do them in pairs.

based on your question, (lack of knowledge),seek professional help.
helping to answer your question, YES you need new wheel bearings. and yes it is not safe to drive, do you need the entire hub? that is what the professional is for, if you cant tell by looking..... you should have noticed something was wrong while driving the car.. as pd says, photos would help us render an intellegent answer.
