Default mpg

Yeah your right... what ever the mpg it gets, its very economical for a car this heavy (1750kg)... and besides, i don't really care what mpg it gets, I LOVE THIS CAR... i'm 50 and ive owned alot of cars and ive never really loved any of them... i've liked them all for one reason or another, but this car, the '98 LS400 i want to keep until i'm too old to drive.... there's a few 'improvements' i wish to undertake... fully adjustable coilovers, bigger rear sway bar, Supra torsen2 LSD, paddle shift kit, and if i can get the courage, a twin screw supercharger..... but yeah, on the fuel economy thing, i just wondered why the maths didn't add up (8.2L per 100km=1000km per tank)
.... Actually, there is one car i would trade up to and thats an IS-F.... I test drove one from Chatswood Lexus not long ago and man-o-man its like a 400hp V8 go kart... it was sooooooo much fun, soooo soooo much fun..however my girlfriend was in the car at the time and on the way home she did point out that i could never have a car like the IS-F. She said i wouldn't last 24 hours before i'd get locked up... i mean how do you drive a car like the IS-F at 60kmh ? when the car is constantly telling you, daring you to floor it, and that intake growl is JUST INSANE
.... my girl was right, i could never own a car like that, maybe when i'm about 75, but now ?.... i'd just end up in jail in about 5 minutes.....
