gosh ya know they are still wrapped up from discount tire.. since one tire is brand new i have been planning on getting all 4 new tires and put them on, but i will do that when my OEM 16tires go.. (were replaced new in 11/10) was like $500 so i dont want that to go to waste, they were the Original size and i got them on craigslist also, in Tucson, AZ.

Indeed. LS430 wheels on the LS400 definitely make things more modern. I've got the 6 spokes on my 99 and love them.

wow I sure like the chrome ones the best. I used 2001 430 wheels with nologo center caps to get my setup.

Keep browsing the wheels classified, I see them from $450-$700. Some junk yards can be very reasonable but it takes some hunting. I've bought aluminum wheels for other cars at $25/each. Those needed some work but still well worth it.

Looks real good, want to know if the size and offset are the same in regard to 98-200o ls400. Any problem in rides etc..

So can i assume that the ls430 wheels will fit the ls400 with no problem and no issue? Anyone can help me confirm this.
Thanks

I picked my set up from a buddy for $250...then found a couple sets of like new Michelins for $260 total...so the entire set up cost me about $550 including mount and balance. Sold the old set with good tires for a $200. Here in SoCal, they pop up on Craigslist quite often but there's probably a lot more guys modding their cars down here too.

I put the 17" 430 wheels on within a couple of weeks of buying the car...so I can't truly comment on the ride but I'd imagine the ride is slightly stiffer with the 17s...but the look is worth it. The stock wheels date the car in my opinion. I didn't love the chrome 17s at first but I've warmed up to them. It's really the only mod I planned to do other than throwing a 40%-50% tint all the way around...but getting to that.

Oh yeah...and of all the LS430 wheels, I prefer the 6 spoke the best. The 5 spoke 18s are a bit too big and the 7 spoke 17s are a bit to bland for me. The 6 spoke speak to me the most.
