Go for it! You have a record of regular oil and tranny fluid changes so you know the major components of the car are probably okay. 2K for front end work probably included tie rods and ball joints. I wouldn't worry about the tilt motor if it is already in a position you can drive comfortably. The cluster working okay is another plus. The radiator is easy to do but you may as well have it done when the timing belt and water pump are done as the coolant has to be drained any how. If you buy the parts for $300 on Ebay you can find a mechanic to install for another $800. Now you've got $1,600 (not including cost of radiator and assuming you buy it for $500) into a solid car. Drive it for a year and if everything holds up you can get nice leather seat covers for the car for another $1000. Now you got $2600 into it and it should last another 70K +. For the initial expense of $1600 you are probably making a safe purchase especially since you know some of the mechanical history.

I have a 95 and if ur not scared of the work, I'd jump on it. Where is she geographically?

She came to her senses and decided to put the money in the car and let her teenage driver have it. I picked up a 96 instead.
