go 96?
I found a black/tan 96LS400 with 75K miles listing for $19,000. I think I could talk down the price (edmunds says $15,500), but I'm in this unsure thought process about which way to go. I think it's worth the time to go look at the car, but not sure if I want to have a higher car/insruance payment.
My car is getting up there in the miles (142K) and I have put about $2K into maintenance/performance parts. Plus I still owe money on it right now. My car doesnt have all the features I want and a 96' does. HMMM..can't afford both!
A 90 LS w/ 142K miles isn't worth that much. Anyone have any estimates (personal opinion, not edmunds or kbb) on what a well maintained, good condition, semi-restored, garage kept 90LS would be worth?

How much do you owe on your car?
I recently bought my 91 with 99,000 miles at a used car dealer for $9999.00. Even though you have 140k on yours, I think you need to ask yourself "is it worth it" to go from a 90 to a 96. It really depends on how much you owe - if it's only a couple of thousand, then i would say keep it.........i you owe close to 10 then get out of it.

Well in south florida you car would be worth something over $6,500 - $7,000. Honestly it all depends on your color but mostly on the condition of your interior.
When I was shoping for my 91 four months ago I saw many car but most of them the intirior were not taken car of. If your is in great shape then it has more value than a car iwth onlt 110k miles on it.
Good Luck
Jerry
PS I sold my 91 two weeks ago WRECKED for $4,000.
