Default Got rear-ended!

I got rear-ended yesterday on the FWY on the way to my office last night by a fellow driving a '90's Lincoln Town Car.

Luckily, nobody was injured and the damage does not 'look' too bad and mostly involved the bumper cover/fascia. I'll have to wait and see what his insurance company is going to do about the damage.

Just make sure that the repairs are made by someone who knows what they are doing. Mine was repaired by a company that was right across the street from the lexus dealer, and does most of their work. After a couple of years it started to peel. The paint needs to be compatible with the plastic, or something like that. Good luck!

Will do. I definitely want the car to be fixed correctly.

Well, if you stop slammin on your brakes so fast people would have time to stop. Just kiddin'. People should keep thier eyes on the road instead of thier phones and we'll all be safer.
Rdrcr; Sorry to hear about the crash, glad ya weren't hurt. Make sure it's fixed right, the first time. Don't let the insurance company screw you around, it was the other guys fault. Good luck.

I'll post some pics when I get a chance.

I'm no expert, but, it looks like he hit the rear bumper from the center-left and then when underneath it while punting me forward. Most of the damage is on the bumper cover, which, isn't too bad but, there is a tiny bit of damage to the spare tire sheet-metal housing area.

Agreed. That's one of the reasons why I'm not riding these days. Way too many distracted drivers in my area.
