You will! Believe me cops don't give a damn what you are driving. If you are in the crosshairs when they are on assignment running radar you are toast.

I can tell you that certain political bumper stickers can have an impact on a law enforcement encounter.

WOW I never knew bumper stickers could attract police attention. It's a good thing I am into bumper stickers but have seen many people with them on, especially political one's.

The type of car can influence it, but there are several factors. How you drive, your attitude, the cop's personality, if he had a bad day, etc.

I never got a ticket in the 3 years i owned my RED Pontiac Firebird, and I ran like a bat out of hell.
Haven't been pulled over yet in the Lexus, but i've only had it 5 months, and I've been driving a lot more conservatively.

I'm not saying it will attract attention. But the police will have time to read whatever you have plastered on the back of your car once you are pulled over. Some cars are covered in pro drug, anti police, pro anarchy messages. LEO's are mostly a conservative bunch, and may form an opinion on your attitude based on your stickers.

Don't kid yourself! Bought my Lexus on a Thursday & got a ticket on Sunday. 1st ticket I have gotten in 20 years.

Hah tickets, if I had all that money back that I spent I'd be driving a new Lexus. In my 20s+30s I used to get 6-8 a year, and then I smartened up. My last ticket was in my 91 Grand Prix, the day after I transfered the registered from that car to the Lexus. Knowing the car wasn't legal, I drove that to pick up the tires for this car. Stupid. The cop said he pulled me over b/c of the looks of that car, it was stock but it stuck out. Too much of a "sports car." I never got a ticket in my Lexus, had it 2 years. I notice now the cops don't look at me as I drive by them. It does matter somewhat with what you drive, if you stick out and how you drive.

I definitely got a ticket in my LS400 back in September for 36 in a 25. Going to court on the 19th to fight it since they wrote "Toyota" on the ticket.

i get pulled over a lot, but no tickets yet (knock on wood). Usually its cops asking me about the car or wanting to make sure i'm not dealing/pimping (seriously, they've asked... :P)

how you drive and how you act towards the cops plays a FAR greater role in if you're getting a ticket than merely what car you're driving.
