Default 27F or 24F battery

Is the battery for a 1991 LS400 a group 27F? The battery in my car now is a 24F and is too small and I would like to buy the correct size instead of the Autozone one size fits most battery. Don't worry about the CCA etc. I have all that under control in this thread I am more interested in the group size.
Thanks

After some research and measuring I found that the group 27 is the correct battery for the car regardless of what the Autozone salesman says. I found that for a 1991 LS400 the group 24 is substantially smaller than the mounting area whereas the group 27 fits perfectly. I also found that the group 24 was not as tall as the group 27 therefore the retaining brackets would not fit properly and because of its smaller size the battery was able to move around. Also, because the 27 is wider than the 24 the cables fit better.

both of my 99's have 24F batterys, and the covers that go on them fit perfectly, as do the cables. maybe 99's are different... and I checked the manual... it dosent say, sorry about that.
