I didn't miss it b/c it wasn't said. You said "it wont work well long term anyways" and "they will just die quicker". That would be fine for me b/c I wouldn't need it to last forever. If one of my original air shocks blew I would spend a couple hundred bucks for a 2 month temp fix, just long enough, so I can still drive it while coming up with the money for a set from Strutmasters or whoever else.

its been said before by me!
just not in this post
thought it was self-evident, but yeah that's pretty much it. a couple hundred dollars? AND the fact that your car won't sit level since the height of the shocks across the axle would be off? compared to just buying coil suspension for the whole car from a yard for the same money?

Didn't realize we were supposed to read and memorize all of your 17K posts. But oh well, no need to argue and discuss this for my use b/c I don't have a problem, yet. I was just thinking if maybe one of mine blows out in the future what I could do for a temporary fix until I could get "new with warranty" not used from the junkyard.
But back to the original topic, python asked if the 97s would work on his customers 91. I'd hate to give him the wrong info and waste the guy some money. Going by part numbers, they are different. That's all I got on the subject.
