Hey Jin couple more questions for ya. Did ya hand sand the the center caps? Also what sze tires are you going to run front and back.? I know the 350Z wheels are staggered.

got the coils installed and the wheels put on. the fronts come slammed to the max out of the box holy crap, spent most of my time setting up the height I wanted for the front. Rears will need to be lowered abit more, which I'll do tomorrow.

all in all, it went pretty smooth.

No problem! No I used an air sander to sand it all the way down, then I used putty to make it nice and uniform. Finished it off with a quick hand sand, then etch primed it.

I had a set of 215/45/18 sitting around in the garage that I threw on. After winter I'll be switching to 215/40/18 most likely.

Thanks! LOL, ya I wasn't planning to either, but with my crazy schedule soon, I know I won't have time to do it, so choose to do it now.

Hopefully I'll have time to even out the rear, so I can take a side profile pic, it looks abit to high in the back for my liking.

They look pretty good for a sporty wheel on a LS but they are NOT "re-branded TE's ".

this is the only pic I have of one of the fronts installed.

today I went over to my friends shop to borrow the hoist to lowered the rears more and dial in the height I want all around. I will most likely stay at this height for the time being until spring, then add spacers and lower it more.

Its pretty even all around, the fronts on really harsh bumps, I can hear the upper A arm hitting the shock tower, so for the time being I turned up the stiffness in the front and it seems ok for now. I'll have to get my friend to make a hole for clearances and reinforce it like I see others have done on the shock tower.

Thanks man!

To tell the truth I'm not entirely sure how the ride stock would be as all my struts were blown on the car and I'm used to stiff *** suspension. My other car has 14k front and 12k rear suspension setup, but overall the ride is smooth and not too bouncy or harsh. Even the future wifey says the ride is still nice, so thats all that matters to me as long as she can still feel comfy in the car.

Right now I have it set 14 clicks from the softest up front and 10 clicks in the rear, so its still on the softer side I guess.

So what size spacers did you finally go with? 30mm? Whats your final effective offset? Looks like it could use another 20mm to get it closer to your fenders.

I'm gonna be running 25mm in the fronts, and 30mm in the rear.

so fronts would be 18x8 +5 w/ spacer and rears will be 18x8.5 +3 w/ spacer.

and currently there are no spacers installed in the pictures, I'll do it in spring.

Damn it seems like the passenger front wheel bearing just took a crap, humming pretty loud rolling above 60kph and when I loaded the right side it got louder. Dammit! LOL.
