LeeXiis,
Sorry I can't help you with your stereo issue. For what its worth, I have a '92LS400 and just replaced my battery with an Optima Red top 34R (800 CCA and 1000 CA); I have read good things about the Yellow tops as well, if you are going to be using loads of electronics in your vehicle. There are only three or four different battery manufacturers with various product names, so it can be confusing; Optima is made by Johnson, as is Service Central, Interstate, and a few others. DieHard, Everstart and others are Sears, and Exide makes most of the rest; also, I think there is a new manufacturer making Deka(?). I may have left out more, but the major ones are covered. Check your old battery group (it may be 24, 34, etc.,) and match it up with a battery that will provide you with the appropriate cold cranking amps for your winter weather, and the reserve capacity you need for your electronics - usually more is better. Optimas are expensive though, as are the diehard platinums (>$200!)
