You will need at least hood/grille, fenders, lights bumper and fogs. Im assuming the bumper support is the same but dont quote me on that. Lights will most likely need to be rewired. There is only one that ive seen done and it was on vipstylecars.com. It was a white fully kitted ucf20 with weds bazreias.

I'll tell you now, most people are going to tell you it's not worth the time, money and effort for this. If you want a '95-'97, buy one of those...if you want a '98-'00, buy that instead. There are threads where this has been discussed, so search for those first.

If I get a '98-00 LS I might wanna do the opposite conversion.

If the project is burning a hole to do, regardless of the $ involved... I wouldn't do it though it is your car to play with.

I'm going to allow this thread ONLY because you're one of the few who wants to go backwards in terms of styling.

so to convert from a 98-00 front end to a 95-97 with its crappy lighting you will need the following from a 95-97 LS400:
-2x fenders and associated bracing/mounts
-hood
-hood supports
-grill + surround + badge
-Grill/hood mounts
-hood + fender seals (potentially)
-front bumper
-headlights
-turn signals
-potentially retrofit 98-00 airbag sensors around 95-97 crash structure (unknown issue)

then there's the wiring issues in terms of making the car "forget" it doesn't have headlight levelling anymore (for OEM HID). the paint for something like this alone is well over ~$800-1200, and then you hope it matches the rest of your car.

and no he didnt list it wrong. i remember when he first posted the ad up, he specifically said that it was converted.

i have been pondering a face lift my self on my 97, but i haven't been motivated enough for the cost of the project, i think i will check this idea out my self too just to be nosey.

going back wards sounds neat.
