I just had a 99 ls 400 and one point that was funny is for the older models the cd changer is in the trunck but for the models 98-20 it is in the cabin which i think is a big difference , i
Agine to pull over just to add a new cd u want to listen to.

Amazing how many people have had more than one of these vehicles. I can see myself getting another. My mother transferred hers to me when my Mazda died. It was her 2nd car for 15+ years. I was always coveted it even having no idea about forums like this. She now has an ES350 which I don't really care for...pretty boring.

Check the stickies to get an idea of common problems with the car. I learned three lessons buying mine - put the car on a lift and check out the bushings before buying, check the fuse box before buying, and check out the car after it has cooled down for hours.

If you plan on swapping in a five speed on a UCF1X I should have a ton of info ready by the end of Feb 2012.

Some people prefer their luxory car being quiet. I like my v8 and want it to sound like a v8. These things sound MEAN if you replace the pre silencers and mufflers with 2.5" piping, an x pipe and aftermarket mufflers. Of course I later find out the general consensus of this forum agrees 2.25" piping is optimal.
