No dash light visible. I have some LEDs above the radio. I baught car w/bad cluster, which I had resesrched and am looking forward to repairingl. I've been a geek almost since birth (my dad started his IT career in 1953 - not a typo) and generally tackle electronic issues with research and soldering iron.

So "exhaust leak or dead EGR pipe" means what? A leak can cause this - how? Where is the EGR pipe and how do I test it?

Final solutioijn was to buy 3 different MCs before we discomer that some goop was stiuck in the resevoure and clogging the MC such that the fluid wasn't retuning to the MC.

That was after replacing all 4 rubber lines to the wheels, flushing the line per the manual, replaced one perfectly worlking calipar (broke the nipll), and chased all over the ABS sys.

Glad you found it... but sounds like some pretty poor maintenance has been practiced on that car... some heavy duty preventative maintenance on your part may help to keep it on the road more and the wife happy... we all know how important that is. Congrats on the find and sharing what you learned. Helps us all...

I knew when I bougth the car that maitenance had been ignored for severay years. I bought it for slightly over scrap valuet.

2 thtngs got me in trouble: I didn't know the extent of Lexux' unique engineering & I didn't know how much the stroke effected me my ability to work on my cars.
