Just joined Club Lexus and am doing the rear brakes on my sons 2000 LS 400 and this write up with make things much smoother

There is a 3rd way to fix the sensor. I managed to "bridge the gap" on the tip of the sensor with a little soldering work. This way it should signal again if the rotor wears through it.
