Diff between Coach Ed. and No Coach?
Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the Coach Edition and the regular car. How do you know which you have? What years is the "Coach" description applicable to? Thanks.

I have a '97 Coach Edition....there are several differences, nothing mechanical though. The differences are all based trim, such as Coach leather seats, arm rest (w/ Coach logo), wood/leather shift ****, unique wheels (they're actually the '98-99 wheels but painted silver vs. machined alum). Also have Coach logo on decklid. I think there's a few more too.
It was about a $5K option.
I also have a less common color, Opal White Pearl. Not sure if this color was available on std. LS400s.

What's differnet about the leather? Anything important? Is it softer or anything like that? Or does it just have an emblem? Also - what made the package more valuable?
