98 LS Brake Sensor issue
my brakes have been done maybe 2 years 1.5yrs ago. i dont go far and iv look at the pads and rotors recently and theirs plenty left. i didn't take the pads out thro.
my multi screen well beep and show Brake Wear. yet from the description above I'm thinking, its a faulty one. i dont really care if i have sensors or not, i do enough work on it to check them myself.
so I'm wondering if i unplug them completely will that make the error msg go away? or if i just unplug them from the pad section and just zip tie them to something, so its still connected to the harness just not the pad.? will that work?
just hate seeing that damn thing pop up every time.

Have you checked the condition of the brake wear sensors and that they are firmly connected to their electrical cables? There are only two - one front, one back - both on the right hand side. If the sensors are worn, they can sometimes be repaired. And new sensors are pretty cheap from online discount parts sellers.
