crap, it looks like you will need a new caliper. see if your local junkyard can get you one, or a rebuilt caliper can be had at your local autoparts store.

Whoa.... That is dangerous. Someone didn't put that back together right, I've done brakes for 10 years and have never had a properly assembled brake come apart. There is no load really on those bolts, and they don't see a lot of vibration or rotational force to back out. Simply put, put it back together correct, and you won't have this problem

1. You will need a new caliper as the fluid is coming from the rubber boot that seals the caliper piston. You can try to put a new seal in there, but likely by the time your done, you've spent more time rather than just replacing the caliper.

2. The caliper slide is still there (what the bolt your missing, bolts into), you actually only need a bolt that is matching the other one. IIRC it's a M8 X 1.25 20mm bolt, usually parts stores will carry those as it's a common import bolt pattern.

3. You will obviously need new pads as your missing one, and other other has brake fluid on it, hence that flaking on the pads, that is brake fluid that is deteriorated the material on the pads.

If it were my car, I would get a new caliper either junkyard or re-man'd, grab another bolt for the caliper slide, as well as new pads and possibly rotors depending on the rust ridge that's on your current rotors. If there's a lip, and you put on new pads, your going to have a squeak or premature wear on the new pads, also don't forget to bleed the brakes. That's just my 2 cents.

WOW WOW WOW seems like im missing the shims you put on the back of the pad and the wires that connects on top i think thats total of 4 of them 2 on each caliper, i do have all the metal clips that sit on the caliper itself 2 on each side of the caliper so that 4 in total on each side so that be 8. but theres a very little clip thats on the brake pad itself, i only seen 1 on each pad? is there supose to be just 1 on a pad or 2??? i remember having 1 on each brake pad on my driverside and there was 1 on my passenger side and like i said my other pad fell off because of one of the caliper bolt was missing so i dont know if that 1 had 1 or 2 little clips on the brakepad???????? need help asap

yes. otherwise the brakes will squeal like all hell.

go to your local dealer/parts place and buy a shim kit.
