Default Should I Buy..

I'm looking to buy this 97 ls400 and it looks very clean in and out everything works just has a exhaust leak. I want to buy it.. but the only thing is that it has 200k+ on it. The owner told me give him $2600 and its all mines and From what I see its garage kept with all records.

Would you buy it????

high miles on these cars do not matter as long as the maint history is kept up to date. these cars go well into the 300k range with normal maintenance. that's a decent price in my opinion if aesthetically it's all sound.

I sold a 1990 with 200K on it for $3500. $2600 as you described would be a done deal for me.

Id suggest just buying it and start enjoying it.

Yea $2600 for a 97 is a great deal. I think most people are paying about $3500+ for them at this time with around the same miles.

I would go through it with a fine comb and make sure all is good. But great deal none the less

I found another ls400 96 with 160k... silver with black interior and I only payed $2000 for it. I talked him down from $3500 to $2000 only because he said he has at least 2 more in his backyard. I'll post pics.
