That''s two deals more than some of us have had, so I don't know about being due...lol.

If you still have that 442 I'll give you $100 for it and double your money for you.

REALLY nice score and I hope you enjoy your LS as much as I enjoy mine!!!

Haha....yeah, that's true, I suppose I have had a couple of good ones.

Funny story about the 442. I was 17 when I bought it, and I specifically bought it because it had the correct rear bumper with the exhaust cutouts. At the time, I was restoring a 1970 Cutlass convertible, and wanted that bumper. The 442 itself was really rough, but I still managed to part it out for $300. I was thrilled, because then I got the local junkyard to give me $50 for the title and the remainder of the car. Before the junkyard guy came, however, I took a few other things off of the car: the 442 emblems, and a small plastic piece that had the words "Night Vision" on it. I tucked both of those away and basically forgot about them. In 2000, I saw an ad that someone placed in Hemmings Motor News, needing 442 parts for a restoration. Shockingly, the guy paid me $350 for what I had. I wish every $50 investment I ever made turned out so well!

I am looking forward to picking up the LS the week after the 4th of July, and I definitely think I will enjoy it as much as you have yours!
