Default Wheel size and offset for 2000 LS

I have 00 ls and was wondering if a +35 will clear the large front brakes? I also was wanting to know if a 10 inch rim will fit in the front, Any help would be great. Thanks.

brake fitment has nothing to do with offset, you need to find out if the wheels are High disk to clear BBKs.

10+35 will fit in the front but you'll need to do a bit of fender work and stretch the tires a bit.

Yes the rims are high disk. I was wondering if 10 inch front would stick out to far? The car has h&r springs, so I dont think rubbing would be a issue. The only reason I ask is beacause the rims only come in 10 & 11 inch right now, 9 inch has not come to the U.S. What tire size would you recommend? F & R?

It will poke.
What width are you going to put on the back?
What shocks are paired with the H&R springs?

guys it's 10 +35, not 10 +5. it's relatively aggressive but not a ridiculous amount. in fact you'll be less aggressive than the 9" wheel i run in the front of my LS.

you will need to roll your fenders, but if you're not going to be low it's not going to look right.

Thanks for the feed back, the wheels I would possibly be running in the back would be 11 inch. I ordered the 10's for the rear but i guess I'm gonna do some testing to see if they will fit the front. If they dont I'll have to wait until a 9 inch is avalible.

just test fitted my 20x10 +35 on my fronts and they did not clear the calipers. I was told to get a +25 and they should fit. Please let me me know how much back spacing I will need. Any advice would be great.

offset means nothing for brake clearance. you need to find a high-disk wheel, made for big brake kits.

offset will not determine caliper clearance, the spoke design (disk) will. what wheel are you trying to run? a +40 offset will fit with the right spoke design.

The wheels I am going with are the varrstoen es 1. The wheels are high disk, it is just the back of the face hits the hit the caliper. The face of the wheel is flat, I will probably need a spacer. I have talked to the wheel company and they cant give me an answer. I have to order the fronts but i just want to get this right once. I dont know what to do.

if they hit the caliper then they arent high disk.

call varrstoen and tell them you need to clear a BBK. if they can't answer or at least give you spacing measurements for the wheels you need a better wheel company.

As PD said.

Are you going for 20's, 19's, 18's?

Are you sure the inside of the lip isn't hitting the suspension?
