discbrakes: whats interchangeable?
I found 94 in jy with good brake rotors on it(very cheap). Question. Will the rotors work on my 91? All ready used the search button. Most of what was comin up was related to the supra conversion.

93-94=11.6in. front, 12.0in. rear.

to upgrade: will the bracket for the calipers fit? Or does the whole steering knuckel need to be transfered? Is this a worth while swap? Opinions welcome.

knuckles are retained, bracket+calipers+rotors+
however the upgrade is minimal, unlike the massive and noticeable 95+ 4 piston upgrade.

what is incorrect in my post?
are you sure about the rotor diameter specifications? it means front rotors are smaller than rear.

Yes, I am sure, and Yes, those are correct. The rears are solid rotors, the fronts are vented.

the '95 LS was the first one in which the rear brakes were smaller than the rears in both thickness and diameter.

Different diameter between 90-92 and 93-94 for front and rear.

Thanks for the info fellas. A retro fit from a wrecked 95 sounds like a better up grade.

I said: "90, 91, 92 rotors has same dia", is this wrong?

my mistake, I must have read it as '90-94. since you seemed to be saying "no" to TRDman's post above yours.

Are the 2nd gen rear calipers much bigger than the 1st gen?
Just did the rears on my 90' and they were tiny itty bitty baby calipers.
The ones on some corollas are bigger lol.
