I am about to go change my rear shocks/struts.1995
Is removing the rear seats the same as it is with the 1990?I changed my shocks on my 1990 7 yrs ago and I am wondering if the bolts for the seats are in the same location for both generations.I am guessing I wouldnt have to go in the trunk..

Nope, you don't need to go to the trunk. For my 96:
1. Pull up on the bottom seating pad.
2. Remove 3 bolts holding down the seat belts
3. Remove the seat belt guides on the top of the back seating pad.
4. Remove the head rest, pull the leather flap back and remove total of 2 bolts 1 for each head rest. 5. Pull down the center arm rest and get that 1 bolt too.
6. There should be 3 more bolts along the bottom of the back pad that also hold the pads.
After all of that is done you should be able to just lift up on the seat and take it out. So a total of 5-6 bolts that hold the back pad to the car, 3 seat belt bolts, like 5-6 screws for the seat belt guides.

What a PITA!The hardest part is finding the bolts on the seats and aligning the upper bolt on the shock to the interior hole and using a crow bar to align the hole on the bottom.I thought the front was tough but this was it.Thanks guys.I got it done.More hidden holes on this one than my 90.
